If you think you know Claude Morgan, you need to meet the original Claude Morgan, Claude Morgan Sr. He was always the hero of the Blast, a friend of mine worked on a phone crew with him, and Claude's dad was reputed to be the funniest man in Texas.

One time we were over at his house eating his food, trying to be clever, and he would look at me with his famous deadpan and say, "You guys ought to leave being funny to the professionals, real comedians get PAID."

Of course we just die laughing at anything he says, mainly because everything he says is funny as hell. To me, it the look on his face, it makes anything funny.

I called him up, I said "This is Kurt."

He replied, "He ain't here!"

I said, "I'm not calling him, I'm calling you."

"Ok, why?'

"I don't know why, I just wanted to call, i hope its ok."

"You can call anytime you want to"

"Thanks, bye."

He's just a great guy, sometimes I have to call him up and see what's going on.
