"tripwires", can save the hassle and expense of running vid. eqpt. and hi-wattage lights constantly. even the cheap ,[but adequate] motion sensors, as found on security lights at h.d., are easily interfaced to acheap alarm sys. the relays can be configured to turn on/off nearly any device you choose. random, intermittent,LOUD pulses from a homebrew piezo [3-barrelled] "chooc-chaser", brought MY problematic nieghbors to heel in less than a week. a focussed 135db. assault on their bedroom windows at 3:00 a.m. [mon. morn.], broke them of their un-nieghborlyness "mucho pronto". they did call the cops twice, but "sorry my alarm sys. went off, it's VERY sensitive". semper fi....carry on troop.
