Monkeys are horrid, disgusting life-forms. Ignore ALL of the cute little cartoon monkeys happily munching on bananas because it AIN'T REALITY. Cartoon monkeys should not be portrayed as chittering banana-munchers. They should be shown as the feces-flinging, foul-tempered, bad smelling things that they really are.
When one considers that "hyuumins" descended directly from these beasts, a lot of things begin to become very clear. It also becomes pretty obvious why the God-Squad contingency adamantly refuses to consider the notion of evolution. And yes, "adamantly" WAS an intended pun.
