ok. :)
an update on my situation. the family I was visiting is my dad's best friend and also a vietnam comrade whom he reunited with in 1989. we found out mac has has lung, liver, and bone cancer a month ago.
they've got a reunion and a trip to china planned this year...my parents came out to spend the week and I came in one day earlier. anyway, he's bald and holding up..still stubborn and the same but I can't help but think of what happened when my grandfather was diagnosed with lung cancer.
cancer is evil. it has spread to his spine...
life just ...sucks.
you can't base your happiness on the life of someone else but I can't help but think about life with those I love. I don't want to think about them being gone and the great memories. I want to share everything I haven't done yet with people I care about.
I'll post something that I find profound... just cause I do come in here and read stuff to lift me up. I may not get it all but I'm not as shallow and ditzy as my words would have you think.
