Even the monkeys knew they were media phonies, a case in point is their move HEAD, in the movie they reinterate over and over that fact. Actually HEAD is the best thing they ever did because it's the only "REAL" thing they ever did, unless you count their reunion stuff and that's actually more of a re-monkey thing than a monkey thing. As for the Beegees I don't think that even John Travolta listens to them anymore. They had their day [actually I think it was a Tuesday in may of 1979] and they've passed into whatever nether region musicians like them pass into when the limelight moves on. As for Bolton I don't think I even need to discuss him since PPX has already covered him at length. And I don't see how anyone can even watch soaps much less become a fan of one. I think that the scene at the end of HEAD sums all this up, the one where Victor Mature hauls them all off floating inside that big aquarium. Nothing more than a freak show, a curiosity from the past. Sound Familiar?
