wow, this talk about spining about the galaxy makes me wonder if we could put on an antimatter coat to keep from being pulled around with all the other gravitational prisoners then we could just step off at whatever planet we wanted to. The milky way being a spiral and speeding around so fast eventually all roads lead to Rome. We could skip from concentric circle to concentric circle and layer our way out and back in. The speed being the key we would actually be going faster than the speed of light and voila time travel to boot. The outer circle is slower as it is larger.
All kidding aside, I am still in awe by the passing of the latest comet, Hale-Bopp. The one Applewhite and the gang are hopefully spining on for their sake. To look out into the night sky and see an object going so fast it was leaving an icy tail but to the eye it looked like an oil painting, still as the other heavenly bodies. I guess its all relative.
