that's the whole paradox of it
it has been demonstrated by the "red shift" that the expansion of the universe is accelrating
since there's "nothing" on the the "outside", the only thing that explains the accelration is the lessening of the gravity from the center, as things get spaced further apart
when you're "out there", the other celestial bodies aren't as likely to bring you down with the gravity of their situation
