i always loved Steely Dan and this becomes really odd when you realise my music taste is generally along the lines of industrial noise and the like. i am particularly fond of _Aja_. i sort of don't like _The Royal Scam_ though because of that song with the lyrics that go "all those dayglow freaks who used to paint their face have joined the human race". true enough as it is, it's not a truth that i like to dwell on, so the song kinda disturbs me. especially since it's about San Francisco, or a guy FROM Frisco, and i like, live there and all.

i thought the eBay parody where they're auctioning off their Hall of Fame awards was a gas.

i've seen some old pics of Donald Fagan with his hair long that are real yummy. at least i think they were Fagan, might have been the other guy.

damn - that was a long time ago, it's a trip that they're still around, making music.
