Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the man's music. I have a whole bunch of his albums, and play a lot of his songs on the banjo. He did a great routine where he clogged and played banjo at the same time. He had taps on his shoes and clogged on a big piece of plywood with piezo microphones attached to it. It was AMAZING.
Really, I was just fucking around because I just found out this morning that he had died, and decided to stick it to Glen for fucking him out of royalties. Glen even mentioned it in his book "Kicking Tanya Tucker's Ass- the coked-out wifebeatin' years" available from Amazon.com (See? I just can't help it.)
John Hartford was one of my favorite musicians. He'll definitely be missed. Please ignore the other shit I did in this thread. Time to refill my meds.
