Lady Kensington was the very wealthy widow of Lord Kensington, who lived in England in the mid-1700's. She was famous for her flatulent nature, and one night at a dinner party she ripped a loud, ripe one.
As per her usual custom when she had guests, she immediately blamed the server who was standing behind her. She turned to him and cried haughtily; "Cedric! Stop that!"
To which Cedric replied; "Of course, Madam. Which way did it go?"
