Cutting edge? I should say so! Who else had timpani drums? (Does this one sound like it's shaped correctly,Nick?) Only Quartet came close, in my humble opinion. In fact I remember one time EJ opened for Der T's in San Antonio at some joint on Main behind San Antonio College! If you didn't see Der T's at Sunken Gardens you have no idea how good music can get in Texas. Of course, I could be wrong.
