My mom had this dog named Face, he was part chow, he had a big nose, huge lips, and a big blue tongue. One time he got into a bag of fried okra. He ate every bite, but his method was to munch on each piece, melt off all the fried batter with his blue saliva, and then spit out the green part, leaving a pile of de-battered okra. Another time, one of the cats knocked a Dunkin Donuts box on the floor. Face inhaled 7 jelly filled donuts, this time he didn't spit anything out. We used to die laughing thinking of that blue tongue slurping up red jelly and white sugar. The scan is of a drawing I did with watercolor felt markers of his face. |
