We're geezers, man. Face it. Thanks for the hot tip on the homemade "Colon-Blow." Speaking of, about two or three hours after I wrote that, I went to the emergency room because of a kidney stone. Blood in the pee, bikers stabbing me with red-hot pokers all down my left side... the whole shebang. They gave me an IV with something in it that worked really well, brought the pain down from 10 to about 2, then let me sit on a gurney for three hours until a really cool Russian Doctor came by while they were setting up the X-ray machine. "You know vhut iss wronk?" he asked me. "Sure!" I said, "kidney stone!" He told them to get that machine out of there ("whe don like to kive enny more radiation then ve heff to" he said) then he immediately left and returned with some Dilaudid, gave me an injection and sent me home with my neighbor. "So this is how Elvis felt all that time. Hmm, not tooooo baaaaadddd..." I heard myself think from somewhere near the "Jungle Room." So yeah, I'll drink the orange juice and Citrucell, I'll gulp gallons of water, I'll piss like a racehorse, Doc. I swear. I don't EVER want to go through that again. ("I can see the head!" indeed.)
