There was a study done by a Columbia professor that showed how the entire current population of the world could be housed in an area one-third the size of TX (in very densely populated big-city type environment) with the remaining two-thirds set aside for agriculture and industry. While that may not be workable, it is ammo on the other side, and it's just as believable as any grand conspiracy theory you got goin. The people in power don't have that much power. And if we ever got ourselves into that kinda mess, it'd be cuz we wanted it. Man, yer world is a scary place.
