what happened...did your computer decide in a blithery explosion of blinkylights and buzzy circuit boards, that it would affirm its utter value to everyone everywhere by reminding us of its existence via the time tested action of throwing a hissy and depriving us of its services to some extent - in this case, the messboard? i hope someone will give it a valium or a bong hit, or the machine equiv thereof, so it will fucking CHILL. meanwhile here in lovely san fran, good old nox illuminatus seems to be doing this himself to me...via the sound card, and that tired old chestnut called "driver vacuum, unfindable CD, and an OS that acts without logical pattern about 86 percent of the time" to vex my head and piss me off. and prayers to TECHGNOSIS, usually proving at least somewhat helpful and sometimes resulting in downright miracles, have brought this time exactly bupkes.
