But, I crack me up pretty much, plus, I don't mind being the but of my own joke, Lord knows, I've been on top so many times, it probably would do me good to be on the losing end of a humorous aside. But it simply must be funny, not just mean. Mean isn't funny, its just mean. There are deeply buried issues that make us mean, so its really from a different set of circumstances, and probably not funny at all. Its one thing to entertain oneself with a rapid series of ironic thoughts or statements, but another thing entirely when its an act of desperation, trying to make someone else's pain bear the brunt of some unresolved pain from somewhere else. That's not really funny, not in the sense of clever word play, or silly mannerism that strike a universal theme that makes you giggle. And that's why I blew the stovestop stuffing out of his skull with a 12 gage. Even though it was just a puff of dust and woodchips, there's just something about the effect of a shotgun on the human head at close range. Never did find that goddamn red rubber ball nose. Never found the nose either. Or the forehead, cheeks, eyebrows... the chin was still there, the bottom half of it. Did it gross me out? Not really. After spending 3 YEARS fantasizing about Cureton's head being blown to pieces, just over and over in my head, Mike Taylor's medicine ball meathead, exploding into chunks of Play-Dough, his eyeballs hanging by gruesome strings out their sockets, and a squigglet of brain cheese squirting out behind... I'm used to it. Looking foreward to it. I only wish my car were starting reliably tonight, I'd go check out the logistics of certain whereabouts. I can't wait! That Bozo thing was just to pass the time until the real fun starts. NOW I'm really cracking myself up. I do enjoy a bold indiscretion, now and then.
