Re: REAKTOR4 by Native Instruments and LIVE3 by Ableton are the best

i'm not even close to being a musician. i call myself a feedback sculptor or a noisewank. i wish i had musical training because it makes this sort of non-music i do more interesting; it's like knowing the rules so you know when they're being broken, if you want to keep breaking them you have to recognize them? that's part of it. anyway, i am only beginning to grok REASON 2 and it does a lot, a lot, a lot of stuff i didn't think possible to do digitally. i will never use someone else's track. like idiots with names beginning with 'dj this' or 'dj that', god, will they please go away? i will take a factory sample and use REASON to tweak it until it's unrecognisable. but that's because i dun' have a studio or three decades of know-how. i am confused about making samples and storing them right now, but i will conquer that soon enough. i just make strange industrial noise and the first 'album' i made back in the eighties was finished one day and san francisco got hit by a seven point one quake. that's all i know. see http://involution.org/choronzon and dun' listen to the mp3s if you can't stand unprofessional industrial noise - the throbbing gristle kind, not the trent reznor kind. i hope to know more, nmore LOTS more after dicking with this program and FL studio until the mystification turns to eurekaville.
