a 667 seems slow now, but that sucker is actually faster runnin' in GSIF than my 2 GHz runnin' in ASIO2. now this may not mean much to you, if it doesn't, I'm afraid we can't have much of a conversation. I only am interested in one thing... NOIZE, and plenty thereof. But if it a ain't FAST, it doesn't do me much good, even if its a slow tempo, its got to be snappy, right there with me, if it ain't, that's ok, but its gotta be snappy wherever its at. Don't ask me how, but that 667 is a snappy lil' dude, eight studio quality outputs, to route sixteen available midi channels of seperate giga sample maps. Its right there with the
Z4 hardware sampler see pic,
another eight out, sixteen to choose from, but instead of a computer, its just a metal box full of some of the same parts olike a 60 GB HD and 512MB RAM, but its strictly a midi triggered audio playback machine, no computation or processing done because its hardwired... therefore instantaneous NOIZE... on beat... and the 667 mhz CPU in chug4, streaming CD auido from the HD can really play in time! It used to not do it quite as well as it does now, I can only surmise they rewrote the code making it  so slick its like owl shit running out of a chilidog
