...from all this fucking bullshit about the tsunami in Asia. Really. One is looked upon as a bastard for not donating hard earned money. Yesterday even in the supermarket. Lady at the register asks me if i want to donate. I, polite as ever, respond: "No thank you, i have to work hard for my money, and have bills, food and taxes to pay. Or will i get free stuff from now on because i donated?" Some people gave a weird look. Fuck them. I'll let you know when and IF i want to donate and until then leave me the fuck alone. I do feel bad for the people that have lost relatives, houses and whatnot during that tsunami, but no one is gonna bail me out if i can't pay for certain shit anymore because i donated. Selfish? Probably. Realistic? Hell YES! Fed Up? Even more... Besides, most of the donated money never reaches place of destination due to "sticky fingers"
