1970, Frank Zappa, the 200 Motels band with Jeff Simmons and George Duke. Of course there was Kaylan, Volman, Dunbar, Underwood, too. GREAT LIVE BAND. They played "Stick 'it Out", it appeared over 10 years later on Joe's Garage, but you don't forget a chorus like "Fuck me, you ugly son of a bitch". That show was so fucking good. Arthur Barrow was there, he can verify. Jeff Walters was there and went to the backstage door. Frank Zappa himself came out and talked to a small group of kids for HOURS. According to Jeff, Ian Underwood stopped by briefly taking swigs off of a quart of beer. Jeff said Zappa was really nice (sounds like the Frank I knew) and his favorite word seemed to be "bizarre".
