i often have to use a nailgun at work. they're loads of fun. they are equipeed with a safety that has to be pressed down in order for you to be able to shoot the nail. but of course you can "manually override" this safety by pulling it back with two fingers. its really amazing how far a nail, driven by compressed air, can fly. we mostly shoot at containers, car wrecks and straddle carriers (don't know them? google it!). when shooting at car wrecks, the nail goes right through one door, lodging itself in the other door. pretty neat stuff, all in all.
