but CANDIDE is an EASY book, I like that, and it is just brilliant, the shit that happens always turns out the worst, but for the wrong reasons, and the teme is pounded in reletlessly "all things are for the good" this guy chases his ideal love all over the earth watching her get raped by every charater she runs into, and many times sh'es enjoying it, he sticks with her and in the end, from being horse fucked by so many ugly guys, she is no longer beuatiful, but the guy doesnthe right thing and marries her anyway even though he can't stomach fucking her. It is a wicked book and made me guffaw out loud for hours and hours, I never knew Voltaire was so wickedly funny and politely brutal with his linguistic prank playing, its just funnier than shit from beginning to end.
