this guy is in hot water over here because he put these cameras on the golden gate bridge - he told the authorities he was making a documentary about marvels of architecture or somesuch pompous shit, but he was actually filming the suicides, something like 27 of them, got each and every one of them on film with close ups, and the documentary is really about suicide. the supervisors are pissed off but he's also become a sort of hero because the supes finally get off their asses and are putting up a suicide barrier, which people told them to do for 20 years or so. and what's more, there would have been twice as many jumpers but the cameras were monitored and the guy called the professional suicide talkdown squad or whatever it's called before they could join the others down in the fucking polluted bay.
