THAT IS SO COOL!!! do you see how a cat responds when you call him or her something s/he has the ability to pronounce the syllables of? imagine being in the company of giant aliens who run your life and call you something you can't even say. i thought of that when i was 12 and so ever since then always asked a new cat what is your name? and eventually, they would tell me their names, that particular sound made to announce 'here i am, pet me, i love you' - they ALL have different voices for those other things, stuff like 'feed me, dammit!' or 'when the hell are you gonna change the damn litter box?' every single cat i knew did.
