If only Constantine had allowed the gospel of St. Thomas into the Bible, there wouldn't be any of this "left behind" nonsense about the rapture, etc. St. Thomas didn't mention the resurrection, which is what cost him the bible gig. Man, if he'd have known that someday people would be wearing crosses he'd probably have beat his head against a brick wall. It'd be like people wearing little pistols around their neck to commemorate John Lennon. Now we have a whack-job in charge who wants to do a remake of Hiroshima on a bunch of ragheads who had the misfortune of being supplied with modern day uber-weapons by his dad when the two countries were at war with each other. So I guess the message there is; if anybody gives you a bunch of weapons of mass destruction, be sure to keep the receipts. In the meantime, let's hope fearless leader doesn't try to jump-start the apocalypse so he and a bunch of other loonie-tunes can wave at us from heaven and yell "SEE? TOLD YOU SO!"
