I've been known to tear up a dance floor now and then, although it was mostly in a Chuck E. Cheese costume. Chuckwagon: the man-myth. I remember that dude from the first house I lived in, with my mom and dad. Chuck, my dad, Roland, etc., all back there, always making music. (I wish there was more stuff on tape of those bands my dad was in.) I was blessed to have been raised around musicians. Especially good ones. When my brother jams with PPX, or with my cousins, or with other guys, it reminds me of those days. Pretty cool. I wonder how my kids will be, being raised by a filmmaker father and a karate mother? Better keep some mercury around, in case they start to get smarter than me...
