Since I started making looped music a few years ago, I noticed that it tends to get bogged down if you add too much stuff at once. But you seem to have found a way around that, by making the loops themselves richer and fuller. Quality over quantity. But godDAMN those Ableton FX boxes are fun to play with. I found a public domain song from around 1920, this beautiful Spanish thing, made a WAV of it, and put it through Ableton. This shit is from fucking space, I swear! How about this: a heavy metal album with entirely electronic instruments. The drums, the "guitars," everything would be composed with ones and zeros. Not that it would be a genuine metal album, by any stretch. But shooting for that goal would be fun. Weird loops with Bruce Dickinson style vocals.
