JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - One Florida family is weary of using the toilet after discovering a poisonous snake was using it as a hiding place. Alicia Bailey was bitten in the middle of the night by what appeared to be a large water moccasin. When she lifted the lid, the snake bit her thigh, sending her to the hospital for three days. No one knows where it went after its surprise appearance, leaving the family feel- ing a tad jumpy. "We're currently very uncomfortable in our home," Alicia Bailey said. "And toilet shy, I would say." All I have to say is...if the bite had occurred any higher on her thigh, Alicia would have found out who her friends really are.
