:: 14:39:58 After buying Reaktor 5, and not being able to comprehend AT ALL what it does new, don't get me wrong, I still like the "physical" side of it, but I'm not too sure I'll keep upgrading like a fucking zombie on any of this shit. I like the drumboxes of Reaktor. The Beatslicers are cool, too. With those two elements I can make make loops for Ableton that defy a lot of explanation, unless of course you know what a Beatslicer sounds like processing a so-called band, then its old hat. I think Reaktor will always be my favorite, over things that do similar functions, like LIVE, Absynth, or Battery, simply because of the Neurosis Of The Reaktor Mindset. It suits me geneticly. When I first was exposed to Reaktor, I recognized my own DNA at work, coming from the Other End Of The Earth. That's where I've been comin' from for a long, long time. I may record with something called PARIS, but I've always been partial to anything that was from Berlin, except that asshole Hitler. He wasn't from Berlin anyway. Stockhausen grew up in the ruins of WWII. I recommend everybody read an in depth biography of Stockhausen, prepare to have your mind BLOWN. You don't realize who you're talking about, what makes him tick, and what ticks him off... bigtime, that being ignorant motherfuckers violating his music with their clliches.
