I lost a friend, John, in 2002, who was only 31 at the time. We used to play RPG's together, a la "Dungeons & Dragons." Nerdy stuff, you know. He had tumors in his lungs, I believe, and the medication he was taking clotted up his blood. He took a blood thinner for a clot in his ankle, but it went into his heart and he had a stroke. The last time I saw John was the first time I'd seen him (and a few other friends) in ages. We all played, and laughed, and had a good time. It's the way I prefer to remember him. We can't forget.
