I'm still not over Waa being gone and dun' think I'll ever be over Waa being gone. I mean..that was Waa. There's only gonna be one Waa and it was HER and she's gone. But no better pair of boys to run where her paws once did could I ask for: Aow is a grey striper with a nose so cute it has to be seen to be believed and he has these, these <i>slanty detective cat eyes</i>, it's the only way I can put it. Miyu is a WEIRD, wonderful fluffster, with this roughly Siamese overlay, and those little teeny stripes that hide in this long hair that looks almost purple or mauve...and these GREAT BIG FEET that are always doing the up and down thing when he's on my lap. His name used to be Yeti. Of course I always rename cats with what THEY tell me their names are - a certain way a cat has of announcing "Hey, it's me" - when he or she ambles into the room. I get a cat, and I will wait until I hear THAT voice, and hear it a few times to know that's his or her "ID voice", and THAT is the cat's name. Anything else is a nickname. I have done this since my very first cat whose name was Reerauw - who one day simply disappeared, ran away, was no longer there and I cried for weeks. (Keep your cats inside, please.) I cried for three months over Waa. During the first week it was every 5 minutes, I'd keep remembering she wasn't there any more and that I'd never see that sweet orange teeny-chinned bright big-eyed cat-face or hear that loud "WAAAAAAAA!" again and I'd just start bawling, even now I still got the tears formin' just from writing this. Oh Aow and Miyu! Love you both like the dear things you are and always will be, but my Waa was my Waa and there will never be another Waa. Oh, what started this whole epistle: your Missy looks just like a cross between my two boys. Especially here in this picture! I'll send you a picture of Miyu; I dun' have one of Aow yet...he's too clever for my camera to catch him
