Fortunately, there isn't much similarity between LIVE and Reaktor.

LIVE is for everybody, and no way do I mean that as a snobbish putdown. LIVE by Ableton has my across the board endorsement for everything it does, I ain't doing without it, let's put it that way.

But there is no comparison to Reaktor. Not even close. Reaktor is NOT for everybody. Its for THE MANIACS who refuse to come back alive. Years from now, these programs will be antiquated. There's no such thing as "just one program", and its gonna get worse before it gets better, meaning, as time goes on, there will be innovations and the cheapness will equalize

The ONLY way to maintain an original sound is by advancing one's knowledge of the programs. Therefore, the TORTURE is the gateway to the ECSTASY. Think of it as a way of life... its going faster than you are, it will be there waiting for you.... always.
