I picked up Vokator about a week ago. It's fussy about hosts - only works in Live (which IS NOT fussy about plug-ins, thank the Gods) and intrigues me on all sorts of levels but especially those involving stuff to do with voice samples. If I ever get this frigging album put to bed the NEXT one's going to be just made of voice samples fucked with six ways from Saturday (with no sabbatical on Sunday) THAT should be an interesting concept. Also, I can hum and whistle and make monsternoises from my mouth - in melodies, i.e. songs. This has given me really interesting ideas about how to skip to making feedback sculptures that wrap around songs, or verse vicea. P.Emerson is thrilled too and told me he'd done that on half the Choronzon tracks he'd shunted to me during the recording and I never knew it. Hahahahahahaha.
