another dumb unfortunate animal got waxed this morning at 6:30 am. this was a real newcomer, it didn't even run, I snuck up on it, blinding it with a flashlight and brandishing a short length of steel pipe. this one went fast, I must have broken the spinal cord on the first whack. it felt no pain. no wiggling tail, no fleas, no hissing, no struggle, just BLAMMO, and angel wings sprouted and it flew between the goalposts of infinity. I got a plastic bag and grabbed it by the tail and tossed it outside. all the other dead possums were gone, most likely eaten by their parents. that's what's good about possums, they eat dead stuff. I'd like to go one night without having to do this, its kind of a drag, even though its becoming routine.
