I'm at rocklight.org ministries using their computer, they're down the road from me, my neighbors actually, but its a "jesus house". I'm sitting here bursting into uncontrolable gut laughs at these ed-isms. "whatcha laughing at, kurt?" "uh, its my friend ed... he's bald headed... he writes funny stuff on the internet sometimes..." I can't really tell the lady what I am SPECIFICALLY guffawing at, its too complicated to explain why I think its funny, so I briefly tell her about Hoss And Kewpie Fall In Love, and I crack up bigtime when it gets to the part where everything is going real swell, and all of a sudden, without any warning, Kewpie goes on her period and changes mood, including taking great offence at Hoss' rude assumptions and innuendos. I detailed how ed created kewpie specifially for hoss to fall in love with, and hoss bit the bait, hook line and sinker. I tried to paraphrase kewpie's style of annoying airhead whining, I couldn't do it right, but the lady said, "well, it certainly matches her name, kewpie". no way can I take the time to explain Farfisa-ponging to this christian woman, much less the cusswords. great post.
