the bitches brew sessions box, 135 stockhausen tracks, from helikoptor streichquartett, thru mikrophonie 11, hymnen, mantra, spiral, in friendship, etc. i got 55 tracks from the mahavishnu orchestra's studio albums. then i got all of return to forever's albums, including some live from 1973. then i got the recently released lumpy money 3-cd set, the MOFO (the making of freak out) 4-cd set. then a few more assorted zappa things, joe's menage, burnt weeny sandwich, weasels ripped my flesh, frank zappa plays the music of frank zappa, one shot deal. i think that's it, it ought to be enough, right? WRONG! i forgot one thing more... add sly and the family stone, including ALL their studio albums. is that enough? no? there's also xenakis, the chemical brothers, and about 50 h.p.lovecraft stories in audio book mp3's. enough? um, no... also mp3's from the bible: genesis, psalms, proverbs, ecclesiasties, lamentations, mark, john, and revelations. that was about 315 more mp3's. ok, there's 79 mp3's made from adolph hitler's mein kampf. oh, look what i found! a disc with mp3's by soft machine, 13th floor elevators, three albums by devo, and zz top. tupac, twista, and the utterly incredible projekct three album masques, recorded live in austin 10 years ago. its just fripp, gunn, and mastelotto improvising. <---- best discovery in at least a decade: projekct three is 3 members of king crimson doing little sideline live gigs. in my opinion this is the best "king crimson" ever! this is the fripp you've always heard, but now he's everywhere at once. how could robert fripp get any better? check it out, he got WAY better, quite a while back....
