So i hear. You can get Canaanite here: http://home.comcast.net/~chris.s/canaanite-faq.html And Sumerian parallels here: http://home.comcast.net/~chris.s/sumer-faq.html#A1.6 My theory is that the Hebrew tribe was the same as Canaanite and branched off later. It isn't even until the Iron age that you can even tell the difference between the Hebrews and Canaanites. There's a lot of simmilarities in the languages as well. Then you got things like Asherah as God's consort. So that's some food for thought.
