watching the "trial" of galileo before the papal inquisition ::: the bible vs. the telescope... the telescope "lost" ::: first they put a stop to art (michaelangelo's nudes) ::: then they put a stop to science (galileo's solar system) ::: the pope used torture, not as part of the punishment, but as a way to get to the "truth" ::: they tortured bruno for 9 years, then burned him at the stake ::: as a gesture of mercy they hung pouches of gunpowder over his chest ::: i guess that blew up and killed him quickly? ::: i'm going to look that up ::: the church of jesus christ did everything they possibly could to stop the renaissance and the enlightenment, all because genitals, telescopes, and mathematics disagreed with the bible ::: so they got rid of those dudes ::: ok, now we know they were right and the bible was wrong ::: the popes were murderers and jesus didn't lift a finger to save any of those victims killed in his name ::: its time to get rid of all the monotheistic bullshit that's threatening the survival of the human race now, they're killing each other and everybody else, too, because they worship three different versions of the same god that doesn't even exist! ::: that's what i call INSANE! ::: who needs a satan when you have a god like that? |
