Blank Empty Space Is A Myth!

the following is an actual conversation i initiated with a fellow employee. don't ask me why i did this... it just popped in my head, and this is what really transpired:

<popeye-x> hey, did you hear about this? science has proved beyond any doubt there is NO SUCH THING AS BLANK EMPTY SPACE! it doesn't exist!

<employee> how? how did they prove that?

<popeye-x> they can't find it.

<employee> (pointing up) not up there?

<popeye-x> not up there (pointing up) nor (pointing left) down here! everywhere it was supposed to be, no trace could be found. blank empty space does not exist! that's a fucking fact! (quietly) its a myth.

<employee> (confused) what about the moon?

<popeye-x> the moon is there.

<employee> galaxies?

<popeye-x> its all there.

<employee> (motioning with hands around an imaginary object) what do they have instead..?

<popeye-x> (leaning over speaking quietly, like its a secret) nothing!

<employee> (totally confused) is it black?

<popeye-x> no. absolutely not.

<employee> uh... can we see it?

<popeye-x> (surprized and intrigued) that's a very good question... i have no fucking idea!
