not only is this incredibly good in the technical sense of masterful writing, i was amazed at how much i loved reading it. this is "girl stuff", not my usual cup of tea, you know what i mean, since i'm a bad motherfucker? but his is true greatness. maybe you're too tough to embarrass yourself by reading victorian era limey literature? or maybe you're a "serious grown-up" with real problems to concentrate on? i can see how this is perfect for reading with a small female child you love more than life itself.
