That's nothing the grave of Y.P. Alsbury a hero of the Teaxs revolution and the first man to volunteer for the suicide mission to burn vince's bridge lies in an unmarked grave beneath the concrete embankment along IH 10 at salado creek on the east side. He did have a marker untill they expanded the interstate but they bulldozed it down. And not only that but also the grave of Juana Alsbury (his sister in law) who nursed James Bowie at the Alamo in 1836 and was one of the few survivors of that conflict also lies there in an unmarked grave beneath the concrete along side the interstate. That's how we honor our heros in san antonio.
