One of the most BORING nights I had at Cibolo Creek Country Club (too many nights, but not many boring ones) was when the unknown Dixie Chicks played for our "crowd" which numbered around 75 people, counting the barstaff.
I seem to remember this was somewhere between 1990-1992. Please clarify if I am wrong, which is rare (just kidding).
I'll never forget that quite, sleepy, numb gig; Who are these bimbos? Where's Lloyd Maines? Oh, it's his kid? And now she's proven to be the stupidest of the 3 after her comments just cause she was in limey land. Maybe they can tour France now and never come back. 75 people is not exactly reason to book them back...
Mr. WalMartinez sez: We're organizing a band of ex-speed freak, heavy metal listeners to go over there and drink some beer and stomp some serious Iraqi ass. Do the tanks have stereos in them, though?
