I've just run across some music I'd never heard before. I'd heard this LP mentioned in the past, but I was just a little late for that era. This is like listening to an American version of "Madcap Laughs". Skip Spence was pretty amazing - and messed up, I guess. It's a real haunting piece of vinyl, and I'm glad I picked it up today.

I've been listenin to a bunch of 13th Floor, Moving Sidewalks, Seeds, Electric Prunes, Moby Grape, Mouse & the Traps, Buckinghams, etc., and I'm havin a fuckin blast. I was born in '63, and I just missed out on this stuff. I've always listened to old Sabbath and early ZZ and Humble Pie, Small Faces and the like, but I never listened much to most of the bands that I'm listenin to this week. It's a real eye-opener. But Oar is amazing.
