Cheers to Kathleen for having the bravery to tell her cureton horror story. I had no idea...after knowing him well for about 10 years myself.
No offense Kathleen, but he always had one ex he referred to as "cunty". It was someone who supposedly slept around on him, which would be understandable. How can anyone get it up with so much alcohol and powder in their system?
I only figure lyn puts up with him because she's an even sadder case herself.
I just don't understand these people (women) who somehow believe they don't deserve better. I encounter this often in my female friendships...women trying to "mold", "fix", "change" their man...
I don't want anything that needs repair.
Welcome Kathleen...it sounds like you have turned your life around to the point where even the thought of "life abusers" like cureton are no longer worthy of your time or attention.
AA saved my fucking life. Celebrating 14 years soon...alcohol is evil, at least for me.
I always hoped that cureton would get help...but he'll probably leave this earth just the way he is now, only worse. That's really sad.
