Hey Duke, I agree somewhat; I really don't see how Sid made it off that U.S. tour alive...and he only lived for a few months after the S.A. Show.

That's what made the Sex Pistols what they were: drugged-out, arrogant, know-it-all wankers who thought they could run roughshod all over the world.

Well, they did. Anarchy was their anthem. And they were the first to have the balls to do it here in the states. Lou Reed, New York Dolls, early Bowie (Ziggy Stardust) & many more bands I don't have time/room/brain cells to mention were pretty whacked for the "popular" bands that were out at the time.

Now, oddly enough, they are part of "music history"; punk history to be exact. The most outrageous band to come out of all of it.

Strangely, if people had to name the top 3 band events/happenings in S.A., the Sex Pistols show would be one of them.

So would Ozzy pissing on the Alamo.

We have dead pics that sell quite well...they are recognized as "history" and some people even see them as "art". The older they become, the more people become "intrigued" by the mystery of it all...and the more shows I get asked to do with them.

By the way, the photos on the above site (& more) will be featured during Foto Septiembre at Robert Tatum's Gallery here in S.A.

You didn't think I'd get through this post without plugging my link and upcoming photo show did you? lol...

hugZ & double couponZ to Duke~ Mrs. W
