That's just it. I was already listenin to VU and early Floyd, and hell, I grew up on Sabbath. The first LPs I ever bought were VolIV and Sabotage used off of the guy across the street when I was twelve or thirteen. Prior to that it was all Henry Mancini and Johnny Cash from my parent's collection, and Mouse & the Traps and the Animals from my sister's 45s. I have the VU and T-Rex box sets and have listened to them for ages. It just amazes me what I stumble across and suddenly realize that there are entire genres and developments and bands and groups of bands and amazing stories out there that I was really blissfully unaware of.
THis is really cool to run across at my age. Incidentally, I found some cool tracks from live shows in '69 and therebouts. THe Net is a wonderful thing.
