From Fort Worth, Texas, a rock group led by John Abdnor, formerly in Jon and Robin. As it was recorded in 1969, this short album (21 mins) contains lots of horn arrangements, but the tracks are generally rather dynamic and benefit from the friendly vocals of Abdnor, in a R&B style. The album ends with the longest track, Relaxation culminating with a nuclear explosion while the singers keep on singing "Relaxation, you need relaxation"...
Ed Lively, their guitar player, was previously in The Mods and Whistler, Chaucer, Detroit and Greenhill. He would later play with Freddie King and record some good albums of Texas blues.

This site has a pretty fair amount of info on some pretty obscure bands. Makes me wanna go rummage through old stacks of 45s in flea markets and whatnot. The midwest has some great record stores in it.
