The following is a true story,
told to me by an eyewitness:
The well known rock group (in 1983 anyway), LOVERBOY was playing in town, and the singer and guitarist, (the main guys in the band), were at a local music store, meeting fans and signing autographs. One of the teeny-boppers gave them a large book, approx. 8 1/2 x 11 x 2 ", inside which she had handwritten the words, I LOVE YOU, thousands, and thousands of times.

After the autograph session was over, the celebs left through the rear door, and as they headed for their van, one of the LOVERBOY's tossed the thousands of handwritten I LOVE YOU's, into the dumpster behind the music store.
